This two-week journey through Japan took place in late October into early November. The route began in Tokyo, exploring neighborhoods including the bustling Shibuya and Shinjuku to the trendy Shimokitazawa, Nakameguro, and Ebisu. I then continued to the west coast, using Kanazawa as a base to explore the region with day trips to Kurobe Gorge and Shirakawa-go Village. For the second leg, I moved to historic Kyoto including a day hike on the Nakasendo from Magome-juku to Tsumago-juku. Finally, a stop at Hiroshi Sugimoto's Enoura Observatory, before returning to Tokyo's Ginza district for the final days.
In total, I logged 241,177 steps over the 14 days.
All photos were shot on the Fujifilm X100VI with a Tiffen Glimmer Glass 1 filter. Almost everything you see below is straight out of the camera using a custom recipe I created based on Pacific Blues by Fuji X Weekly.
